To enter France you must carry an Official Sanitary Certificate issued by a registered veterinarian, signed and sealed. This certificate must clearly state that the animal has correctly complied with the vaccination program and that the required blood analysis has been carried out.

Some breeds of dogs considered as potentially dangerous are forbidden to enter France, such as Boerbulls, Pitbulls, etc. Others have to present a birth certificate and genealogy such as the Rottweiler or the American Staffordshire Terrier.
